The Painted Smile

In a fading 19th-century carnival, Baptiste Lune, a former hobo turned celebrated clown, performs his haunting moonlit act a song and dance so moving it brings crowds to tears. Under the glow of the spotlight, he seems almost otherworldly, a figure both adored and alone, holding the audience in quiet awe.

But behind the paint and the applause, Baptiste wrestles with an emptiness that fame cannot fill. As the carnival crumbles and the lights begin to dim, his final performance becomes both his masterpiece and his farewell a last, desperate prayer to the moon he’s chased all his life.

The Hunt

The Hunt began as a student film written and directed by Alex Hastings, with me serving as Producer. What started as a classroom project quickly grew into an award-winning short a testament to the dedication and collaboration behind it. I helped oversee production, manage the schedule, and support the creative team from pre-production through post. The film went on to win Best Screenplay at the Action Thriller Crime Adventure Film Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia , became a Quarterfinalist in the Bridgeport Film Festival, and was an Official Selection at the True Colors Film Festival.

The King's Surgeon

Set in the opulent yet treacherous court of Louis XIV, The King’s Surgeon follows Charles Félix, a brilliant but unproven doctor whose life changes when he’s chosen to perform a risky and unprecedented surgery on the Sun King himself. Torn between ambition, faith, and the expectations of a monarch who believes himself divine, Charles must navigate rivalries, superstition, and the limits of early medicine to secure both his legacy and his soul.

Inspired by true events, the film explores the clash between science and belief, power and morality, and the human cost of progress in an age when failure could mean more than just disgrace it could mean death.

The Popcorn Man

Served as a hands-on producer for Popcorn Man, a thriller about a college student who follows a mysterious trail of popcorn into danger. Oversaw key pre-production tasks including script tagging and breakdowns, securing filming locations, arranging food and supplies for the crew, and casting the lead actor. Played an essential role in organizing the production and ensuring a smooth, efficient shoot.

Odds of a Goodbye

I worked on foley for Odds of a Goodbye, a project that reminded me how much life sound can breathe into a film. I spent hours in a small, un-air-conditioned room surrounded by props, recording footsteps, fabric rustles, and improvised effects to match each moment on screen. Despite the heat and the chaos, it was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had transforming everyday noises into emotional beats that deepen the story’s impact. That process, sweaty as it was, taught me how sound can quietly shape a film’s entire atmosphere.
